Faith That Does Not Fade
1 Samuel 1:27
“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him.”
Hi Truth Kids friends! Have you ever asked your mom or dad for something—maybe your first bicycle or to be taken on a trip? Sometimes we have to wait patiently until they answer yes or no. Waiting can feel so long, right?
In our Bible verse today, we meet a woman named Hannah. She had been praying for a long time, asking God to give her a child. Hannah kept praying faithfully even though she had to wait. Finally, God heard her prayer and gave her a son named Samuel.
Truth Kids friends, sometimes we also feel like our prayers take a long time to be answered. We might even feel upset or think, “Oh, maybe God isn’t listening to me.” But that thought is not true. God always hears us and knows the perfect time to answer.
Let’s learn from Hannah to trust and patiently wait for God’s answer. When you pray for something—whether it’s healing, a good friend, or courage—don’t give up too quickly. God loves you and hears every word you pray.
