Today’s devotional is titled:
Learning Patience from the Back Seat

Genesis 30:22
“Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive.”

Nadia always sat in the back row of her class. Sometimes it was hard for her to see the board because her taller classmates blocked her view. Every night she prayed,
“Lord Jesus, please let me move to the front so I can learn better.”

Days went by, but her seat didn’t change. Nadia began to wonder,
“Does God hear my prayer?”

A few weeks later, the homeroom teacher announced, “Kids, we’re going to rearrange the seats so everyone can learn better.” When the teacher called her name, Nadia was moved to the front row, right near the board. She smiled and whispered in her heart,
“Thank You, Lord. You heard my prayer, even though it didn’t happen as quickly as I wanted.”

Truth Junior friends, from this story we learn that God has His own timing. Our job is to keep praying diligently, relying on Him, and trusting His timing. Just like today’s Bible verse tells us—Rachel prayed for a long time to have a child. Even though she waited so many years, she never gave up until God finally answered her prayer.

Let’s also be eager to pray like Rachel, Truth Junior friends!
