Growing Up
Luke 2:52
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
Truth Kids friends, have you ever wondered what Jesus was like as a child? Did He also play, learn, and make friends like you? The Bible doesn’t tell us everything Jesus did when He was young. But one thing is clear: Jesus grew up, became wiser, and was loved by God and by many people.
Little Jesus also learned, Truth Kids friends! He obeyed His parents, learned good things, and always wanted to do the will of His Father in heaven. That’s why Jesus became such an amazing example for all of us.
If Jesus Himself learned and grew, then we must too. We can learn to obey, learn to pray, and learn to read the Bible. If you can’t read well yet, you can ask your mom or dad to read it for you.
In this way, we can also grow to be more loved by God and by the people around us. So let’s be excited to learn like Jesus, Truth Kids friends! God is surely pleased when His children want to grow in His wisdom.
