Today’s devotional is titled:
Fruit that Grows

Galatians 5:22–23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

One day at school, Rani saw Lia crying because she had lost her favorite pencil. Without being asked, Rani opened her pencil case and gave her one of her colored pencils. Lia smiled, and the whole classroom felt warmer.

Truth Junior friends, small moments like that point to something big: the Fruit of the Spirit. Paul wrote that when the Holy Spirit works in our hearts, fruits like love, joy, and patience will grow. Not because we want to show off or be praised, but because a heart transformed by God produces real actions.

The Fruit of the Spirit is not just beautiful words we hear at church. It shows up when you wait patiently for your turn to play, when you help your little sibling button their shirt, when you cry with a friend who’s sad, or when you choose to be honest even though it would be easier to lie. These small actions are part of God’s big mission, to color the world with His love.

Don’t worry if you’re not perfect yet. These fruits grow slowly, like seeds watered day by day. How? By praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance, reading God’s Word, and starting to practice in small things.

Think about it: what fruit of the Spirit do you want to show today, maybe love, patience, or joy? Then let that fruit show in your actions. Who knows? One smile, one word of encouragement, or one small act of help from you could be God’s way of blessing someone else. Remember, Truth Junior friends, every time we live out the fruit of the Spirit, we are sharing God’s love with the world.
