Marathon
Romans 12:11
“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
Truth Kids friends, have you ever heard of a marathon race? A marathon is a very long run, up to 42 km! Wow… that’s really far! Runners have to be strong and cannot be lazy if they want to reach the finish line.
There’s a runner from Kenya named Kelvin Kiptum. He could run that far in only 2 hours. So fast! That’s because he wasn’t lazy but kept training hard.
God’s Word also tells us not to be lazy in doing good things. We should be full of spirit! Not only at church, but also at home and at school.
When we are diligent, God is pleased. We can serve Him through small things: studying, helping our parents, or assisting friends. So come on, let’s keep our spirit burning!
