Small Things that Mean a Lot
Matthew 10:42
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
Hello, Truth Junior friends! Today we learn that even the smallest actions can mean so much in God’s eyes. Wow, so we don’t need to wait until we grow up to make God happy! The Lord Jesus said that giving even a cup of water to someone else is valuable to Him. This means that small things we do with love can become something extraordinary.
For example, helping Mom tidy up toys, assisting a friend who is struggling, or sharing part of your lunch with a classmate who forgot theirs. Sometimes we think, “Oh, that’s just something small, not important.” But God looks at our hearts. When we do things sincerely and with love, they are precious to Him. God doesn’t measure how big our actions are, but how much love we put into them.
Truth Junior friends, let’s start today by doing small things with love. Don’t wait until you can do something “big.” God already gives us opportunities every day to be a blessing to others. Even through a smile or a friendly greeting, we can make someone’s day better! So, be encouraged! Let’s be God’s children who are full of love, ready to help and do good, even in small ways, with a big heart!
