Today’s devotional is titled:
Caring for Others
“I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” – Matthew 25:36
Truth Kids 😊, there was an elderly woman named Grandma Nuri. She lived alone in a small house. Her children and grandchildren had already passed away. Grandma Nuri lived a very simple life.
Because she was old, Grandma Nuri was no longer strong enough to work. She only grew vegetables behind her house. But even though life was difficult, she remained friendly and kind.
Her neighbors often helped her. They gave her rice, food, and cared for her when she was sick. They loved Grandma Nuri because she was kind to everyone.
Truth Kids, around us there may also be people who live alone. We can help them too! For example, by greeting them, praying for them, or sharing some food 🍎.
Jesus is pleased when we care for and help others.
So, let’s show God’s love through our small actions!
