Don’t Miss Your Chance
“Be very careful, then, how you live… making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:15–16
There are certain moments in life that will never come twice. There are opportunities that, if missed, you’ll never know what they could’ve become. God didn’t just give you skills. He also gives divine moments open doors, people who come into your life, or small chances that you could actually use to bless others. But sadly, many people miss those chances. Why? Because they procrastinate. Because they wait until they’re “ready.” Because they overthink. Or because they don’t realize that the skills they think are “ordinary” could have extraordinary impact… if they just take that first step. Moses could’ve refused when God called him from the burning bush. Esther could’ve stayed silent when her people were in danger. The little boy could’ve kept his loaves and fish to himself. But they didn’t miss their moment. And because of that, God used them in powerful ways. God’s opportunities may look small in the eyes of man, but they are huge in His plan. So take the opportunity it might just be the doorway to something great tomorrow.
What to do:
1. Look around you today. Is there a small opportunity you can take? Maybe helping a friend in need, sending a design, joining a ministry, or praying for someone.
2. Ask yourself:
“What has God already placed in my hands that I’m delaying to use?”
3. Say this in prayer:
“Lord, don’t let me miss the opportunity You’ve prepared for me. I know You gave me skills for a reason. I want to take a step, even a small one. Use me, and don’t let me waste the divine chances You’ve given me.”
