Time Flies So Fast
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:15–16
Time passes so quickly. We wake up in the morning, go to school, come home, play with our friends in the afternoon, and then night comes and we fall asleep.
Through His Word, God reminds us to use our time wisely. That means we must be careful and not waste the time that God has given us.
God gives us the gift of time so we can use it properly—for studying, doing homework or practice, developing talents, eating with family, and playing with siblings. But often, we spend too much time on something we like. For example, playing games until we forget to do homework, or being busy with our phones until we forget to help our parents or siblings.
Using time wisely also means we don’t only think about ourselves, but we ask in our hearts, “What can I do to please God today?” For example, instead of going straight to play after school, we can choose to do our homework first or help our parents.
Time is very precious in our lives. So, Truth Juniors, have you been using your time well? If we still like to procrastinate or ignore time, that means there is still laziness in us. And we must not keep that, because God is not pleased with children who are lazy.
God wants you, Truth Juniors, to grow in His Word and to help others every day.
So guys… treasure your time, because time will never come back twice!
