Called for More Than Just a Comfortable Life

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” – Matthew 5:14

In today’s world, many people chase comfort: stable jobs, nice homes, regular travel, and steady income. There’s nothing wrong with that. But is that really all we’re meant for?

God didn’t create us just to survive or enjoy life. He called us to make an impact. Our generation, creative and digitally connected, has a rare opportunity: to influence many lives with Kingdom values.

Take Esther from the Bible. She lived in the comfort of a palace, but when her people were in danger, she realized, “Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14). Esther chose not to stay silent.

Likewise, we aren’t called to live passively. God placed us in this era for a reason. In His hands, every talent, profession, and platform can become a tool to build our nation: spiritually, morally, and socially.

What to Do:
1. Reflect: Are you living only for yourself, or have you started thinking about your contribution?
2. Pray today and ask God: “What part have You entrusted to me for this nation?”
