Today’s Devotional is titled:
Failure Doesn’t Mean Total Defeat
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. – Isaiah 55:8
Have you ever felt like you’ve planned everything well — your studies, career, even your ministry — but the results turned out far from what you expected? It feels like a total failure. Especially when others seem to be advancing while you feel left behind.
But failure doesn’t mean God isn’t at work. In fact, when all your plans fall apart, God may be arranging something bigger and better for your life. God’s Word says His plans are not like ours. He sees the whole picture, while we only see small fragments.
Even the cross once seemed like defeat, but it became the greatest victory in history. So don’t be too quick to draw conclusions about a story that God is still writing.
What to Do:
1. Write down one thing you consider a “failure.”
2. Pray and say: “Lord, teach me to see from Your perspective.”
